L.A.-based trumpeter Matt Fronke’s playing, writing, teaching, and home recording reflect his diverse musical tastes and experiences. His extensive training in classical and commercial music led to significant professional experience as a lead, ensemble, and improvising solo trumpeter in funk, pop, jazz, New Orleans-style, swing, fusion, salsa, reggae, rock, and symphonic groups, shaping Matt into the elite and versatile professional he is today. Matt is an endorsed artist for S E SHIRES brass instruments.

Matt has recorded and toured extensively with Céline Dion. He has also recorded for Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, BTS, Mary J. Blige, Rod Stewart, Earth Wind & Fire, The Rippingtons, Gladys Knight, Kristin Chenoweth, Joss Stone, The Untouchables, and Steve Tyrell.

In addition to Celine’s tours, Matt has toured with Don Henley, Tom Jones, Boz Scaggs, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Barry Manilow, Steve Tyrell, The Untouchables, and The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and performed live with The Houston Symphony Pops, The San Diego Symphony Pops, The Long Beach Symphony Pops, The Pasadena Symphony Pops, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Poncho Sanchez, Eddie Money, Frankie Valli, Seth MacFarlane, The Tom Kubis Big Band, Barry Manilow, John Tesh, and Billy Vera. Matt served for several years as the only trumpet-playing regular in the history of Disneyland's legendary jazz combo, The Royal Street Bachelors, and has performed all four trumpet books with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. Additionally, Matt is the author of the popular Beast! series of trumpet books.
